This story is a Norwegian folktale to explain the change in the amount
of daylight, and the end of winter and the beginning of spring. It
is an enjoyable read for the whole family, as the day to day interaction
between family members continues. The reader is apt to recognize the similaritites
of family members even across cultures.
A great book to read in late February or early March as the winter
humdrums set in on us. |
